A nice trip through the streets of Barcelona and a stay between vacation and work.
August is well known for being the month of relaxation for everyone! A great lover of travel, I am heading to Spain accompanied by a few friends and, as always, my dear suspenders. And yes, because Vertical l’Accessoire has been thinking about expanding with this neighbor for a while now! As a test city, I choose Barcelona. Firstly for its geographical proximity to the South of France where I am from, but also because Barcelona is undoubtedly an essential city in the European Union but also in Spain, since it is the second most populated city in the country.
So here we are, me and this optimism that characterizes me in the streets of the El Born neighborhood in search of new distributors. I chain the shops one by one presenting the suspenders made in France Vertical l’Accessoire in a Spanish mas o menos bien (jajaja;)). Buyers are taken aback (rather pleasantly), certainly unaccustomed to this type of canvassing, which is unusual in Spain. But no matter, determined to extend the Vertical l’Accessoire canvas, I continue. I meet several buyers, but very often they are on vacation, so I just have to talk to the store managers.
I am proud to announce that our Catalan neighbors will soon find some of the Vertical l'Accessoire suspenders in two stores in Barcelona!
Our models the Strasbourgeoises, the Griselloises and the Cannoises being those which met the most success.
This little getaway is an opportunity to visit the city that I know very little about. So I put off my entrepreneur cap for a few moments and turn into a real tourist. Head to the Sagrada Familia!
This short stay was interesting for the brand which will soon be represented on site. Even if the Spaniards attach less importance to made in France than we French, the latter are still more and more sensitive to the origin of the products they consume. As for the “braces” accessory (aka “tie straps” in Spain), the Vertical l’Accessoire team firmly believes in it for an increasingly avant-garde Spanish market in terms of fashion!
Hasta luego!
