Vertical l’Accessoire made its show this weekend at the Galeries Lafayette Montparnasse. We tell you how it all happened.

Do you remember our visit to the Vintage salon at the Carreau du Temple a month and a half ago? Well it all happened there! It was there that we met the communication manager of Galeries lafayette Montparnasse. The latter then showed us her enthusiasm for our laces, gloves, belts and suspenders.

6 weeks later, we exhibited during a special Christmas popup! So we shared a stand all weekend alongside Zelda, creator of Culture Pap bow ties, hand-sewn in crochet.

Alongside us was also Norbert, AKA Norbert Bottier...we'll tell you right away about this French shoemaker passionate about luxury shoes. :

Norbert Bottier, and son of a shoemaker, passionate about the world of shoemaking since childhood, Norbert has been selling, maintaining and repairing shoes for 35 years. He has a store in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, but also presents his collections in his shop and on his website.

Norbert: "Shoes are (quite literally) the foundation on which your entire outfit rests. So it's important to know how to pair them smartly with your accessories, especially your belt and your gloves (and, of course, your shoelaces! )."

This is why, today, we present to you Norbert Bottier,

Norbert's philosophy is simple. For him, an elegant man does not need to buy hundreds of pairs: it is a question of composing, over time, a collection of quality shoes (that is to say, shoes that keep for a long time ), suitable for all situations.

Would you like to meet this shoe lover?

Then go to the waxing workshops where you can take advantage of a free waxing lesson! He organizes them regularly in his shop. Just bring your favorite pair of shoes (if it's in bad shape, that's even better!), and learn how to give it a new lease of life with the right gestures and the right products.

But it must be said what is, the Vertical l'Accessoire collection met with great success this month of December... Our stocks were therefore at a loss... Despite the notable absence of our essentials such as our mid-wide straps the Cannoises or even our brown straps Les Strasbourgeoises, the accessories made in France Vertical l'Accessoire were very successful throughout the weekend. Note all the same the outsider of this stand: the lace! Our colored laces were unanimous during these two days. We find on the podium our burgundy red waxed laces, our red laces as well as our thin orange laces, proof that colored laces have a bright future ahead of them.

And here is a short video to illustrate all this!

Dear Galeries Lafayette, if you want to join us next year, we will be happy to come back!
