Suspenders... "This clothing accessory is not just a trend, it's a real exercise in style" (says blogger VeryGoodLord). So to better choose your pair, here are some technical tips... Be careful, let's go!
Thin straps or wide straps? How many times have we heard this question at Vertical l’Accessoire? Many. Well the answer is: “There is no rule! ". No, spaghetti straps are not for women. The latter are doing very well on a man.
Even if of course, it is preferable to have a relatively thin template (law of proportions obliges!). The thin straps will go very well with a casual/trendy style and will bring a young and fun touch to your outfit of the day.
On the other hand, the mid-wide and wide straps are absolutely not intended for a more classic style. Indeed, the wide straps will go very well on a simple t-shirt. When worn with a t-shirt, we recommend a slightly fitted t-shirt.
Another issue: "Should I opt for three-clamp or four-clamp suspenders instead?" Again, the answer is simple, there really are no rules…!
Personally, we like the 4 darts because we find that the shape they give to the garment seen from the back is more aesthetic, but that's just a matter of taste! Don't worry, three-clip suspenders are no less durable than four-clip suspenders...! Our pliers, made in Italy, are of the best quality and you can be sure that they will support you and never let you down, whatever the circumstances. So believe in your Vertical l’Accessoire braces ;)!
Thin, mid-wide or wide straps… three-clip or four-clip straps… Well, that depends solely on you and your tastes! The accessory is there for you so it's up to you to adopt it as you see fit. Don't forget... If you feel good about your braces, then by definition they look good on you!
